Will this be a day for Cushie’s patients to attend or an educational day for other people to attend?
I’ve emailed the person responsible for setting this up and I’ll let you know when I get an answer for you.
Generally, they encourage family to attend to help them understand what they patient is going through.
I got this answer back:
The patient day is for anyone interested in Cushing’s. Support people are encouraged to attend. It’s not set up for professionals, like docs or nurses. It’s an unbranded meeting focused on trying to help the patient who may have or is diagnosed, full spectrum. We hope this 1st meeting will be successful and others in various areas of the country will follow.
